Unable to Remove Account Still Reported to Credit Agencies

I have tried everything, and this company is still confirming with the credit agencies that I owed or owe them. I have no idea how to remove them. I saw some phone numbers on this board, but most have been disconnected. My credit agency only shows part of the account number, so they cannot verify what I am talking about. I am lost as to what to do.
