BP - Citi Bank Credit Card
False Delinquent Account Since 1997 on Credit History

While getting ready to purchase a new home, I discovered that my credit file lists a BP/Citi account dating back to 1997, complete with several delinquencies. The trouble is that I have never held an account of any kind with BP oil or Citi Bank. Three separate times I have tried to get the entry deleted. I filed disputes with each of the three credit reporting agencies and also with BP/Citi directly. The BP/Citi service representatives treated me rudely for no reason.
