They refuse to swap a car battery that is under warrantee

I purchase a sear gold 700cc car battery under a three year warrantee. Hasn't been a year of normal use. Alternor is fine, battery is failing to hold it's charge. I had tripple a give me a jump because the battery left me straided on 87 north. I went to sears explaining to floor sale person by the name adam who said he couldn't exchange the battery because the test they did show a charge. I explained to this mouron that i charged it to get the car to them. They refuse to exchagee it. Only if a i drain the battery out. Which there is nothing in there policy that states so. Not only was he rude and disrespectful. His helper a fat black women eating at the counter and chatting on her on cellphone instead of helping customber on company time.
