AAP Do not purchess life time warranty IT'S A SCAM!

Never Never Will I buy from Advance Auto Parts.

I purchase and alternator from Advance Auto Parts with life time warranty 3 1/2 years ago. Alternator has gone bad so it was taken out and i have taken to Advance Auto Parts ware it was purchase from Store 04920. They said it did not come from there store. It had only one label on it the reman bar code. This was my third Alternator from this store! Now it does not show in there data base system for there data base only goes back 2 years. How I know this for I been shopping in the store for 5 years and I ask the parts man when was the first time I shop there he said 2/26/08.. I said what! I been coming here for more then 5 years and my phone has not change for more then 8 years! What a scam!!! How can you offer life time warranty if you Data Base only goes back 2 years?!!!
