Jim Click Dodge
They verbally promise the world to get you to buy and then deliver nothing!

Cars & Transport

I recently bought my 4th vehicle through Jim Click Dodge in Tucson, AZ. This will be our last purchase through this dealer. We bought a used '06 Ford F150 and were promised "verbally" many things that they would fix or take care of. We have fought tooth and nail for these things to be done and now, even after 5 months, we are still getting the runaround.
We have purchased 2 new vehicles and 2 used vehicles through Jim Click Dodge on Automall Drive by the Tucson Mall. With the new vehicles, of course they promise you everything because they are new and still under warrantees, so they know that the "Dodge Company" will take care of it for them and it doesn't come out of their pockets, but when you purchase used from them... Beware!
Our first used car (Nissan Sentra) had a broken glove box. It was promised to be fixed right away and even up to the day we sold it, 3 years later, was never fixed. We brought it in multiple times for "band-aid" repairs, but they never forked out the money to replace the glove box!
This Ford F150 Truck had 3 MAJOR things verbally promised to us during the sale by not only our salesperson, but also the Supervisor to make the sale! First, the truck came with one key—I'm sorry, if I spend $26K on a vehicle, it better come with 2 keys. That is just a given. Well... 5 months later after multiple requests for the 2nd key they are giving us the "if it's not in writing, we will not take care of you". Our salesperson has even offered twice to pay for the key himself and that he "will get back to us to make an appointment to get it done". Yeah right, so far no key!
Second, the tires on the truck were shot. We requested a changeout of tires from another vehicle during the sale, but the Supervisor promised us at least 15K miles left on them. After 60 days (2000 miles), 2 of the tires bubbled and blew out. Jim Click would not replace the tires and offered us "Cost" (which is really no less than at a tire shop) on 4 new tires at $1000 with no warrantee. We fought with them and they told us that "a used vehicle is bought as is and they did not promise us how many miles we'd get out of the tires". So we ended up getting tires at Firestone on Ina for $1000 and they came with great service and a great warrantee.
Third, there was an area of the front dash board that was sticking up and they said, "oh, yeah, we can get that fixed for you". Isn't that what they always say? Sure you can get it fixed for us, but I'M NOT paying for it. It took multiple visits and 3 months later for them to fix it.
So in short, beware buying any vehicle from Jim Click Dodge! Their motto should be, "if it's not in writing, it's not getting fixed, no matter what we promised you to get you to buy the vehicle!"
