Tire Ripoff

Beware of the service you get buying tires from Les Schwab. I purchased 4 tires from this company 4 years ago. 2 tires are still on my truck after 51,000 miles. The other 2 tires when oval after 10,000 miles. Les Schwab allowed me only $15 apiece for these tires towards 2 new tires. Not acceptable. I paid $100 apiece for these tires.

Very upset with this service after 15 years of buying tires from Les Schwab. The lies were unbelieveable. One of the shop employees told me that if the tires were driven 5000 more miles the tires would be ok. Right. These tires had a bawl spot on them. Took the truck to another tire company for tire replacement and was told that the tires rims had way to much lead on them. Lead is used for balancing. Lead was taken off on the other 2 tire rims. Was told by Les Schwab that the tires that I bought were only good for 35,000 miles. That's a lie. They said I bought a low end tire. That's a lie.

I wrote to Les Schwab headquarters with this complaint.in the end I got $70 more dollars. Had to fight to get that.
