2001 Chevy S10 sold $5,000 over blue book and financed

Around eighteen months back, I got a 2001 Chevy S10 for my daughter at the Auffenberg auto dealership.

The sales pitch was that it was a very dependable truck, but I have had to sink a lot of money into it.

Following some repairs, I took it back to Auffenberg, where I had bought it, to trade it in. They told me I was $5,000.00 above the blue book price on it, and that without that amount the trade was impossible.

I asked the salesman to confirm: "Are you saying your dealership charged me $5,000 beyond blue book, and CitiFinancial agreed to finance it at that price?"

He said yes.

If anybody knows what I can do about this, I would appreciate hearing it.

My daughter is a college student, and she now has a truck she cannot count on, because Auffenberg and CitiFinancial bank both fleeced me.
