Another car dealer rip off

Cars & Transport

In August I was contacted by a salesman named "Angel" from this dealership regarding purchasing a vehicle. I went to the dealership, bringing with me my trade in vehicle.

When I arrived the salesman looked at the trade vehicle and asked me how much I wanted, I said $500 he said "ok". He then showed me a vehicle with no price on it and even after being asked 5 times, could not tell me the price of the vehicle.

The salesman then asked me how much I wanted to pay monthly, I told him approx $150, he then said ok we were all set. The vehicle needs some minor body work, which I was told would be done and I would be given a car to use while mine was being repaired.

After completing the paperwork I was told to come back in approx 30min for the new plates. After I left the dealership the transmission on the trade vehicle started slipping.

When I returned to the dealership I was instructed by the salesman that they would no longer take the trade and would have to rewrite the contract, this idiot made my wife and I sit at the dealership for over 2hours while he talked to "his boss".

Finally we agreed to give them a check for $500 dollars in order to get out of there. As we were leving the dealership the salesman told us that when we come back for the repairs they could not give us a car to use. My contention is that since they had all the time they needed to check out the trade and since the paperwork was already signed, they owned that trade and the deal should not have been rewritten.

After numerous emails to the owner, who of course claimed his dealership could do no wrong, and a complaint to the BBB who of course sided with their member. I got no satisfaction! This is just to WARN people to stay clear of this dealership and others owned by the same owner, at least one I know of in Woburn, Ma.
