Overcharged on towing, then wouldn't release vehicle, said no one was there - for 6 1/2 hours in the middle of the day

I stopped at a club to see a friend for an hour and a half. Came out at 2 A.M. And my car had been towed. Thank goodness I hadn't been drinking. A policeman on site said the Wendy's had posted signs a couple of weeks ago in that lot, though they had previously allowed the bar patrons to park there. I didn't see the signs in the dark -they were small with super small print, but I figured, okay, I screwed up. Anyhow, the sign said $125 towing fee and $25 a day "storage" fee.

We tried to pick up my car at noon that day (cash in hand) but there was no one there, and we'd driven 20 miles to this place. When I called the number they said they'd be back at 3:30. At 3:30 they said they'd be there at 5. At 5 they swore they'd be back by 6:30.

Finally, they showed up to release my car and then tell me it's $175 plus $25 storage. Why was it $50 more? $25 in administrative fees, and for good measure, another $25 for having to tow my car "after business hours".
