Recently I saw my Reward Point balance was falling, and not because I was redeeming them, but I was not getting AMEX their money fast enough. As the card was for reimbursement of business expenses, it turns out that my company was a little slow in getting the check back to me such that the bill was paid in "time". I said OK, I guess the program is not for me, take me off it.

I went in to redeem the left over points recently and now they say sorry, we took all your unused points back and you can't have them. Amex went on to say, “We know you won't like this, but too bad.”

I have the letter Customer Service sent me for proof.

This is the worst customer friendly company in the world! I do not understand how they keep any customer.
