American express Card fee review - Rewards program

Had to cancel my platinum card after 30 plus years due to mismanagement by Amex who kept sending me books we didn't want and charging hundreds for them, even after promising for five years it wouldn't happen. Upon cancellation, had a credit which they never sent, and when we tried to use our 30K points, they said, "too late." Funny, Amex could keep our credit but our points expired. We have two other cards, we want the points transferred to them and requested that, but told tough by a customer service agent who commented that we must be rich (I guess that working hard is a bad thing to Amex customer service people). We want our points. I have asked for my credit and allegedly that is coming to us.
