Hidden problems with vehicle

I purchased a used truck from Demontrond Dodge in Conroe Texas (2003 Dodge 1 ton dually 4x4 diesel 118000 miles) last month. I did buy the truck AS IS no warranty. I drove the truck around a little there in town and really liked the truck. I did hear a noise in the front end that did not sound good. I asked the salesman about it. He said that it was probably a shock rattling. He said that their service department does a very detailed examonation of the truck. This truck has absolutely no problems. If any they will be very small. So I said well surely it cant be much. I liked the truck and the price was so good until I just had to have it. But later I found out why the price was so good. Okay I purchased the truck with cash money that I had been saving up for 3 years $15,500 of hard earned cash. I mostly got this truck so I could take my two little girls horse trail riding and camping. This money was very hard for me to come up with. I am trying to send one of them to college and one to high school. So I was so proud of myself for being able to save this. I knew that I would not be able to buy a new truck like I needed. Now I do not have the money to pay for to get this truck repaired. Ok here me my wife and one daughter leave Demontrond Dodge in Conroe Texas going back to Mississippi. We all are so happy that we finally got a truck that we needed and that we all done without other items just so we could have it. So we all were smiling ear to ear. Then no sooner than I got out of Conroe Texas about 30 miles it happened. When the transmission shifted into overdrive it made a horrible noise. My heart just sank. Then I slowed down and sped back up and it happened again. A terrible grinding noise when the auto transmission shifted. So I immediately called the dealer and they said that they would get back with me. So they never would call me back I called and called finally got in touch with the salesperson. He just told me that he talked with the used car sales manager and said that it is my problem that they will absolutely not help me with it. So I did make it home with the truck just trying to take it easy. I called a lawyer when I got home and he said if I had purchased the truck in Mississippi he could have done something about it for sure. But seeing how it was out of state he told me that it would cost to much for him to travel over there and it wouldnt be worth it to me. I really believe that Demontrond Dodge knows this and this is why they wouldnt do anything. They knew I spent all the money I had just to buy the truck. So I did later carry the truck to a front end specialist to see how much it would cost to fix what ever the noise was n the front end. He said that it was my 4 wheel drive universal joints. He showed me. He had me to look over the tire and feel of the axle and I did you could litterally shake the axle up and down because they were so worn out. So I think back the salesman told me they done a $1600 dollar inspection to the truck. Dang if this is all you get for a $1600 dollar inspection. I would hate to see what a 500 dollar inspection would get you. Come on people my little 14 year old daughter could have seen this problem. I was in my dress clothes when I purchased the truck are I would have got up under there and looked at it. Stupid me I was just taking the ignorant sales person at his word. I know now that I should have just purchased me some new clothes it would have saved me a lot of money. But anyhow after all this I took it by AAmco transmission shop in Laurel Ms. And they told me most likely they would have to rebuild my transmission. The cost would be $2500. My front end I did have it fixed for $500.00. So as soon as I can save up the $2500 I will have my transmission overhauled. I just think that it is so unfair for a major car dealer like Demontrond Dodge in Conroe Tx. To do good old honest hard working country folks like myself so bad. I wonder when they sleep at night do they feel sorry for doing people like they have done me. This just is not the American way you know. Where have our morals went to. I would never scre someone like this. If I sale you something and it is not what I told you it was. I would give your money back to you. I cant believe that we have people like that which cares nothing about anyone else. I believe their name describes them well. DEMONtrond they must have the Devil in them.
