Ripped us off over $2000

OK, I'm not leaving me name on this one, I mean these are bikers we are dealing with. Don't get me wrong, we ride alot, but we don't want any trouble.

Anyway, this happened about 6-7 years ago, then I had no recourse like this website. We bought a basket case vintage bike from Panhead city w/o engine. My husband build the bike but Panhead City was suppose to build us a engine. We finally got the engine $2500 later, 3 months later.

When the engine was installed and turn over it literally exploded. To make along story short we found another shop (a year of searching) and had the motor rebuilt again. The new guy said the engine was a mess, with pieces that would not have ever worked.

He showed us everything that was done wrong and explained it to us. And beleive me, he was right. Oh, Chuck (the owner) offered to fix the engine, God knows when that would have been. I think we did the right thing by taking our loss when we did.

I mean he didn't build it right the first time, he wouldn't have gotten right the second.

We were newbies then and know alot more now. But we work hard for our money and he just flat ripped us off. Of course there are 2 sides to every story, but trust me we are out over $ had an engine with faulty and plain wrong parts in it. Hope this helps someone.
