Ripoff ripoff abused & mistreated ripoff business from hell cheated employees and screwed the customers even more

I visited Pep Boys in Apache Junction Arizona several months ago for a small job on my air conditioning. They called me after I was without my car for 3 days explaining that other problems were found, work that was estimated to cost around $900.00 but that was needed in order to drive safely.

They did the work and I picked up my car a few days later. The next day while driving home from the airport, I was aware that my air conditioning wasn't working. And, in the fast lane, my car suddenly died nearly causing a huge accident.

This was 1 DAY after picking my car up!!! After hours waiting for a tow I took it to them and demanded they help me. They sulkily obliged but wanted to CHARGE ME!!! I talked to the manager and he assured me all would be handled, and if the fault wasn't theirs (#??? $WHAT) they would work with me.

After that I called every day for 4 days, the manager was on vaction and noone else seemed to know what was going on. When I got the call that my engine would have to be replaced and they would do it for just a little over a $1,000.00 dollars I frieked.

I called a tow truck and went to get my car. When I arrived, the manager (now appeared??!!) asked the mechanic where my car was, he said "In the scrap heap where it belongs" HaHa. Can you even belive that!!! I should sue those bastards.

Needless to say I found a mechanic who repaired my car for a reasonable fee and whose mouth dropped when I beagn to explain some of the charges, for example, $40.00 to replace a hose!!! I tell everyone I meet not to go to Many Moe and GET JACKED.

This company is a total cheat, rip-off and apparently full of liars. I hope their stock falls and they rot in shitty auto mechanic purgatory forever!
