LIARS, Frauds and false accusations!?

Consumer Portfolio Services (CPS) called me summer of 2007 accusing me of a delinquent account of which I "have" with them for a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero. Prior before this, I have never even heard of CPS and I have never taken out a loan for a car. They call my parents home about 3 times a day! So I decided to put an end to this...

When I finally called them back, the first words were "Why have you been ignoring our phone calls?" I calmly tried to explain to them that I have never taken any loans out for a car, and I have never even heard of them. After a good 5 minutes of debating my part... She finally transferred me to her supervisor. At this point things really start to get suspicious.instead of transferring me, someone called my cell phone (call waiting) The lady whom I was speaking to told me to pick up that phone call.

So I picked it up and to my surprise, it was the same lady acting as her manager. The lady started to ask for my social security number and address. I promptly told her that I don't feel secure giving my SS# over the phone. I then asked her to give me information about CPS (address, website, phone #, etc.) Her exact words "We don't have to give you anything because you owe us money" I was very irritated at this point and express my concerns with their validity as a "real" company and are out there to scam innocent people.

Shockingly, she fired back harsh, rude, scornful remarks (all while saying my name wrong) and then hung up on me. SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Immediately I checked my credit reports and found no indication of stolen credit or identity. That same day I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection - Wisconsin. They still call my parent's home often and I want it to stop. What else should I do?
