Honda Odyssey & Accord (Honda Motor Co Inc) is a ripoff consumer rip-off fraud ABS Failures

Cars & Transport

The ABS problem in the Honda Odyssey and Honda Accord is VERY widespread and costly. Since I posted the original post, I have gotten e-mails weekly from Honda owners with ABS component failures. It would not take much AT ALL to find a very large group of owners with this problem.

If I were an owner now having this failure, I would REFUSE to pay for these components. They are NOT supposed to be failing for the lifetime of the vehicle ownership. Period.

I know Honda had a recall for an oil seal. This was a good move. Are there those whose vehicles burn a fair amount of oil since this recall? Do you have the SRS light coming on and staying on (we had this when we first got the van and now it is back on)? To date, this van has been our best one... But that isn't saying much since we have had a LEMON Chrysler and now a LEMON Toyota.

The quality, reliability, and safety of the minivans is just not there. Actually, I was hoping that the Toyota would win out... Not so. Honda has the chance by doing a RECALL on the ABS NOW... Before the public begins to discuss this issue like the Toyota engine sludge!!! Hopefully, someone will get back to Honda about this BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!! If it takes the same road as Toyota, there could be trouble just around the corner!

Be sure to file your experience on usacomplaints.com and document your case. Above all else, vist the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) web site and file a report on your ABS failure. This organization NEEDS to examine the on-going ABS issues across manufacturers. This problem is truly reprehensible!
