Damage to car ripoff Englewood Denver St Louis Kansas City missouri

I brought my brand new BMW to this car wash and they had a trainee drive the vehicle into the car wash. This trainee drove the vehicle ONTO the rail and then the car bounced off the OUTSIDE of the rail. They have protective rail covers on the INSIDE but not the outside.in so doing they did major cosmetic damage to the front rim.

I asked for the manager... Jared Hoffman who told me it does no good to report a claim as they never pay. He said it is impossible to prove damage without before pictures of the car. I pointed out it had 400 miles on it. He said alot could happen in 400 miles. He said he would not even allow me to make a claim as it would be a waste of his time and paper.

I dialed the police to make the claim and he hung up the phone twice. He then told me to leave. I waited until the police arrived and it all ended in the private property this is a civil issue answer. They did however agree if I wanted to file a harassment charge against the manager I could. I did. I did not get a ticket for the same.

I filed the complaint through the corporate office in St Louis and their answer after a week was to cancel my membership at the wash, and tell me if I ever showed up again they would press trespassing charges. I would warn anyone who cares about their vehicles and would like honest recourse if damage occurs, that they NOT do business with this particular chain of car washes. They are liars and scumbags and now criminals for assaulting a customer.

I will gladly amend this if the company wants to do the right thing... Replace my wheel. I dont care about spending more $ at your wash, I will take my business elsewhere, but your so stupid to assume cancelling my membership will hinder my ability to use your wash. I could purchase a new membership under an assumed name with cash and another address (like a family memeber) and get my washes for the years to come.

Rest assured if I do, I am going to stick it to the poor kids who dry the car and give NO tips until it pays back the wheel. So, $1000 divided by $2 tips... 500 washes from now I will tip again. Also, in order to get my free washes, I will put in $. 03 cents worth of gas instead of filling up like I used to you scumbags. Actually I like this optinon. Screw the high school kids over piss poor management.
