Ripoff, Selling Lemons and then refusing to fix problems on "inspected" cars

I purchased a vehcle which they claimed had been inspected and everything was perfect on. I went down to pick it up, and there was already another buyer there for it, that they tried to substitute another like car which was undriveable. I should have known then!

But we took the car on a test drive, and everything seemed in order. The car is fully computerized and on the test drive the car kept saying low engine coolant. I filled it up at alocal gas station, and it was still saying low. So when we went back to the dealership I told them of the problem, and they agreed to check it out again. At that time they informed me that it was a problem with the sensor that was on back order and they would go ahead and take out teh price of the sensor ($50) out of the purchase price, and I agreed.

We did not eve make it home in the car before it was smoking and overheated! I called tehm on Monday morning and after 2 days of not being able to get anyone on the phone finally threatened to file criminal charges. That is when the agent finally got on the phone and ssaid tha it was a problem with the water pump, which they would pay $200 towards getting replaced. Well the water pump replacement cost over $300, but at this point we had already spent more than that on going down to pick it up. So we replaced the water pump. The car was still overheating.

Long story short, the car turns out to have a hole in the radiator, and is undriveable. The cd player does not load cd;s and the alignment was so far off that it goes through tires in a month. The car needs more $ put into it in repairs than I paid for it. It has been sitting in my driveway now for over a year. When I contacted the company they say that they did not make enough money on the sale and therefore will not make these problems right. Too bad, I am out of luck!
