Ripoff provides false information regarding repossision

In Jauary 2003 i purchased a 2002dodge and Chase auto finance took over the loan. After about 8 months i lost my job, i called my loan officer Lillie Olivas, and explained the problem to her, only to be told there was nothing she could do and the payment had to be in the office by the 24th (due date. I told her i would do my best. A couple days later she left a voice message for me stating that it was in my best interest to call her at once so she could make arrangements to secure the truck.

I called on monday and spoke with her and she was very rude so i requested to speak with her supervisor who was also rude and told me it was not his problem and if i didnt get the payment in by 5pm they would order a pick-up of the truck. I explained that i would have a good check on friday and could make the payment then, he told me that was not an option and he would not give me 4 more days. I contacted them on friday to make a payment and was told the order to secure the truck had been made and they would not accept the payment or remove the order to pick up the truck.

On monday night around 11pm the repo guy showed up beating on my door. He told me if i paid the past due balance (1payment was due) that i could pick up my truck from the Dallas auto auction holding area, which is where Chase holds the repossed autos until they can be auctioned off. And i would have 15 days before it was auctioned. On tuesday i contacted my loan officers top supervisor Albert and was told the loan had been accelerated to the end of it and in order to get my truck back i had to pay it off in full. Then pay another 400.00 to the repo company, and i only had 11 days to do it.

He Albert started out very nice then turned as rude and hateful as everyone else at Chase auto finance. I have had nothing but problems (rude phone calls, nasty letters ect...) since i purchased my truck. Now im with out a vehical and will most likely lose my job and everything else. Thanks Chase Auto Finance.

If anyone has to deal with them in the future make sure all your payments are paid BEFORE the due date or you will have the same problems i had...
