Continental Warranty
Ripoff of an extended warranty

Cars & Transport

I am stating that the company, Continental Warranty is a rip-off company.

I took out an extended warranty from this company for a 2002 Dodge Gr. Caravan in Feb. 2005., with mileage of 48,027miles. The conditions of this contract were that i drive this van 1000 before any coverage would be in - effect. Thus, meaning the the effective mileage was to be at 49,027.

I drove this van on March 19th, and the transaxle failed with the mileage of 49,263. I had it towed to Peter Koch Chrysler/Dodge Dealership in Seneca Falls, NY for repair. The service department states that it will cost $3468 to put a new transaxle in this vehicle.

This company is refusing to pay for this repair. All though the transaxle is listed as one of the items that are under covered repairs.

Subsequently, my disabled son has been without transportation to dr's appointments since this has been layed up. The garage is now telling me (on June 23rd) that effective June 29th I will be charged $15 a day from Mar. 21st for storage. I need this van and help with this situation.
