Hello All,

As we have all seen the marketing and advertising of how dependable and tough Ford trucks are I am here to state it is a lie. From day one my new 2004 Ford Super Duty E 350 Diesel truck has been a LEMON! The selling dealer did not even have a fully factory trained service technician capable of diagnosing the transmission drive line related problems much less being able to fix it!

Calling Ford Customer Service in what you would think is in Dearborn, Michigan and a corporate division that would actually help you actually gets you a typical call center that writes down all your complaints and issues and sends them to the dealer you bought the vehicle from. Big help that will do as in my case they new first hand the problems!

When the factory eventually sent out a specialist he too did not know what was wrong and had told me that he would need 30 to 45 days minimum to speak to the transmission design and engineering team to figure out what was wrong.

He never got back to me now multiple months later. I found out in that ensuing time that even though the vehicle was brand new, we as consumers all need to meet Factory repair deductables on items like a transmission, in my case $3,800.00 worth of service before an entire unit can be approved for replacement. As my truck in the first 90 days of ownership was in and out of the dealer's shop many times totalling 40 plus days of which the dealer unscrupulously only documented 15 or so to avoid Lemon Law requirements my truck is actually much worse than it was day one!

The problem was a loud growl and vibration coming up from the floor boards at 40 miles per hour until the last "repair", now the transmission leaks fluid so badly it has soaked everything under the truck to the point of a fire hazard as it is constantly leaking on the exhaust system AND it still has the original problem only worse.

The vehicle is undrivable due to this with a mere total of 2,650 miles on it total! It is my opinion that Ford clearly attempts to wear out their complaining purchasers until they plain go away. The customer service guidlines clearly make the whole process a nightmare for anyone involved.

I can only hope that every greedy, unscrupulous and overpaid director of Ford responsible for unhappy and abused purchasers the world over has problems of the magnitude I am enjoying with every single purchase they make in their personal life from now till doomsday!
