Minivan would not start twice, missed court, paid $211

My husband and I feel that we have been ripped off by Car-Mart of Ft. Smith. We bought our last car from them and never had any problems with it. But we needed a bigger vehicle and traded it for a minivan. We brought it home on the 1st day of December. The next morning I went out to start the van, and it wouldn't start. I called them, and they sent a tow truck. They had it for 2-3 days before it was fixed. The next day after I got it back, it started doing the same thing. They told me that it needed a new fuel pump. They said they had put one in it the first time.

On January 19 I had a court date, and again the van wouldn't start, the same problem all over again. I called, they towed, and I missed court. This time they had my van for 4 days, and they never called until I called them to see if it was fixed. Then they told me what they think the problem is, and it just happens to not be covered by my warranty (5 months or 5,500 miles): an ERG valve and TPS. They paid for the cheaper one, and I had to pay $211.00 before I could take my van home 4 days after it was towed. (They don't give loaners, so you are stuck.)

Today is the 24th of January and the van is worse. The problem is not fixed. I had two different mechanics (ASE certified master mechanics) look at it, and they tell me the problem is still not fixed. I took it back and told them to fix it. I called them, and they told us to bring it in; all they can do is check it again. I am being taken advantage of, because the other two I had look at it say it probably never needed an ERG valve. I want my money back, plus the towing I had to pay and my deductible. I want my vehicle fixed or replaced. They refused to replace it, knowing this will be the third time it has been in the shop for the same problem. My troubles have just begun with America's Car-Mart. I would not tell anyone to go back there for anything. I mentioned the Lemon Law, and all they said was "yeah, okay." There is much more to tell, but there is no room to write. Thanks for this site; it helped me try to keep someone else from going through this problem.
