The flowers were a delight! - Citrus Kissed

I am a receptionist in a hotel and have to sign for the flowers for our guests quite frequently. This year I had to spend my birthday at work and was just busy with some routine business. When I saw another delivery man with a package I gave him a nod and asked which room it is for. I couldn%u2019t even imagine someone would decide to send flowers for me! It was such a big surprise! Even with my trained eye for the flowers I admired the bouquet a lot. The flowers looked as if they had been just picked. It was a vibrant mix of oranges and yellows. Needless to say I was very proud of having my personal flowers on the reception desk and it really made my day. My brother (the sender) was very cautious for getting them delivered in a vase so that I didn%u2019t need to leave my workplace and rush out to ask for a container. I was able to enjoy that cheerful bouquet for about a week and am profoundly grateful to my creative bro and Bloomex florist who was able to design a bouquet suitable for a man. It was a great contrast to a usual gift such as tea or fruit basket.
