Deceptive, Dishonest, Wolves in Sheeps Clothing, Unethical Business Practices

Cars & Transport

My husband and I were shopping for a Nissan Murano for a Purchase and had two Jeep Grand Cherokees for trade-ins. The sticker price or the Murano we wanted to purchase was $35,000. Through the HIGH pressure sales tactics of the Pinnacle Nissan team (Charlie and Sam his brother-in-law) we were some how talked into getting a lease instead. We were told that they could get us into the vehicle by giving us $26000. For our trade-ins and we would have a payment of $159.00 a mo. And a $1000.00 cash back.

All along throuout the whole transaction we were led to believe that we were talking about the price of the car being $35000.in the Finance office my husband and I shared my reading glasses. The finance guy, Kirt, took advantage of this. He pointed out the numbers on the contract that he wanted us to see and kept the contract folded so we could not see the true numbers.in looking back we feel that he did everything he could to keep us from seeing the true charges. We felt very distract in his office.

Like others who have complained about Pinnacle Nissan we know that we should have read the entire contract before signing. We don't know why we did not. They have a way of making you feel at home, like they are family and you can trust them. They are truly Wolves in Sheeps Clothing.

We did not clearly look at the contract until we were getting ready to call our car insurance company, and when we saw what Pinnacle Nissan was charging us for the vehicle we were devestated. It's to embarrassing to even mention. It was over $10000. More than sticker price.

We called the finance office to tell them of the mistake they had made in the math. We were told that it was a done deal.

We went in to talk to Mr. Steve Nunez, the sales director, to see if he would re-write the contract. He sat there and listened (like he actually cared) to us plead with him to let us purchase the vehicle instead of the deceptive lease we had been duped into. Mr. Nunez had a look af absolute pleasure on his face in telling us no. He said that he had no intention, from the minute that we walked in the door, to do anything to change our contract. He said that we would still be getting the $1000.00 check that they owed us.

We asked Mr. Steve Nunez for a Bill-of-Sale for each of the Jeeps that we traded in and did not receive. He just gave us a blank stare at that request.

We will be warning everyone that we know about the bad business practices of Pinnacle Nissan. We have not received the $1000.00 cash back from the deal. My husband called the customer service person to get information on the installation of a theft device that we purchased, and some spots on the paint they promised to repair or buff out. They have not called us back!

We have lived in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area for our entire lives and have NEVER come into contact with a business that was more deceptive than Pinnacle Nissan.
