I arrived at Downeys after the Irish Festival 6-22 ONLY because I had won a Gift Cert from a 5K race. My family needed to use the restrooms (completely backed up and dirty!) The drainage in the floor was flooded and only one of the toliets worked properly gross!) I could only imagine how the kitchen sinks looked? My family ordered and we waited 45 minutes for lack of words bar food. After trying to motion to the server countless times for our check she finally came over and took my visa debit c.C. She put in the wrong amount and swiped it twice without notifying us. The next day they were paid thier share (a low chump change amount) and still to this day pending in my account double what I was charged! They should better train thier employees because patrons will not put up with this pending transaction bs. The person whom I spoke with did first say it was the c.C. Companys fault. After speaking to my bank AGAIN Downeys finally said Oh OK she did swipe it twice gee thanks. They did say that they would call my bank so I can get my cash back in my account I hope it's soon. So people check your statements this could happen anywhere
