Ripoff I work for them, they do alteration of tips

My name is Roy and I have been working for il fornaio for more than 5 years. Last year I decided to leave the place for considering fraudulent the way the management used to act, both with the employees and with the guests.

At first, I would like to say, that during all these years in il fornaio palo alto, there has never been an employee called Carla. I can affirm that, therefore, the person who answered to the complaint against this restaurant in this page, is likely a person who is related to that restaurant and is trying to make this seem a non-intentional mistake Every person who worked for il fornaio knows that in that location there have been many cases when serveres alterated the guest's tips. However, the managers many times tried to pretend they never knew that, either to support these employees because they their friends or because they could have received any present or amount of money for hidding this away.

By now, everyone knows that the way this restaurant works, with a Manager as Steve Boyden who has been supporting this server Carlos, a guy who has been known just for getting extra tips... The ones he gets after re-printing vouchers to alter tips. The person who answered supporting the restaurant, is probably a manager or someone who works for them... Because there is no way someone who was a server there can deny this or say it could be a mistake... It could be a mistake if it happens once or twice... But if the same server gets usually complaints for alterations in the tip amount, maybe there is something wrong. And as an ex-employee who worked for that restaurant, in the same location, I can assure that they had at least ten complaints against the same server, and after working there and knowing him, I can assure that the server does change tips.
