Attempted Ripoff! Attempted Rip-off Caught then before it was too late

Called me and said I had been pre-approved for an unsecured credit card and gave me a confirmation number that someone would be calling me back in a couple of minutes to verify the information.in the mean time, I searched Google.com for Phoenix Consumer Services, and this is the first site that came up and I read all of the reports people have filed.

When they called back apparently to get my bank account information, I told them I read on the internet that they are a RIPOFF, and they thanks have a nice day. How can we stop them from getting everyone that doesnt read these ripped off? Thanks!
