Consumer Network Services
I was ripped off!

Business & Finance

I was called about 9pm and was given a credit card offer. Being that my wedding day is coming up in a few months I decided to accept.

The person on the line read my address back to me and asked me to verify if correct. They then proceeded to ask my personal information (ss#, drivers liscense and bank acct#).

The trusting person that I am, I provided all the information to them.

When my fiance came home and I told her the great offer she exploded and asked how dumb could I be to provide all our personal information to people I have never heard of and asked me to immediately call and cancel the offer.

I was given a phone of 866/538-5523 to call if I had any further questions and when I called exactly 1 hour after speaking with them I got a recording.

The recording said the mailbox was full and I could either press 1 to disconnect or press 2 to enter another number.

Sorry to say but I was not provided by an alternative number so I have gone online to find more information about Consumer Network Services when I found this website!

I could not believe what I read and am so angry at myself for allowing this to happen to me and my family. Don't let this happen to you!!
