Today I received a phone call from a company called Phoenix Consumer Services. They promised an unsecured Visa or Mastercard if I answered a few questions. Having been ripped off before I asked for the name of the company and the telemarketer was a little hesitant. She had originally asked for my husband who is currently deployed overseas. She said they would call back in five to ten minutes with my credit card information.

I just didn't feel right about the whole thing so I got on my computer and searched for the company's information. I ended up here. THANK GOODNESS!

When the guy called me back I told him that I was intrested in the service they were offering. He asked why and I said that I had done some research and that I just wasn't intrested. He asked me who I contacted and I said the Business Bureau and a few webpages online.

He said "Well Burger King gets thousands of complaints everyday but you don't see people not going to them" BURGER KING DOESN'T COST NEARLY $200-$1000 DOLLARS AND GENERALLY WHEN I GIVE THEM MY MONEY I GET MY BURGER AT THE WINDOW.

I didn't say this to him only that I wasn't intrested in their services at that point he said I guess you are just intrested in having bad credit all you life huh? Very rude and at that point I said may I speak to your supervisor? He hung up!

I tried to call the number back but of course busy or a recording that sounds as if it were taped in someone's basement. So the moral to this story is... Don't do business with these thieves!!
