Ripoff They took my money and lied to me about the work they performed

Business & Finance

Mr. Troy Scott contacted me regarding his services to help save my home from foreclosure. He guaranteed me 100% to help me save my home and promised counseling for me and my family. I sent $700 in good faith via PayPal. I received an e-mail containing a Word file that I was supposed to complete and return immediately to DRFG.

Part of the contract guidelines were I was to keep in constant communication with DRFG, but I was not allowed to respond with my mortgage company or their lawyers. I fulfilled this agreement by sending all communication from the mortgage company and the lawyers to the office of DRFG. After weeks of no response from DRFG, I wrote an e-mail that I was going to reinstate my loan based on lack of communication from DRFG. I was concerned about the impending Sheriff's sale and I did not want to risk my family's well-being. Mr. Scott e-mailed me and called me, and he stated that DRFG had sent me e-mail updates. This is a false statement, because I never received any communication.

I reinstated my loan due to the lack of communication regarding the status of my foreclosure and requested a full refund. I received a certified letter from Mr. Scott containing many discrepanices. He stated that he wrote me an e-mail indicating the last notes on the account. This is false, because I never received an e-mail. He also stated that he was working with the account representative from my mortgage company and she would have a decision for us. I had received a letter from the same account representative prior to the certified letter stating she had attempted to reach us regarding our loss mitigation case, but was closing the account due to no response.

Mr. Scott and DRFG stated falsely about communicating with me on several occasions, and a representative my mortgage company. The only reason I seeked my own solution is because I did not receive any verification from DRFG that validated their efforts towards a solution on my foreclosure.

Do not give your money to this man and his company. He promises to save your home and rebuild your family. During this stressful time in your life, it sounds good. But you could use that money towards saving your own home... Yourself. Do not give it to him.
