Credit Card Late Fees

I recently lost my job. Before losing my job, the company I worked for made several cut backs, hours worked and pay. As a result I have fallen behind on the three credit cards. I have two of those Discover Card and Chase. Realizing the state of the econemy we're willing to put me on a hardship program reducing my payment and intrest making it affordable to meet my obligation with those companys. Bank of America has offered no resolution other than a reduced payment in full. Which as I explained to them, if I had that kind of money I wouldn't be late in the first place!

I asked about some sort of hard ship program with no resolve. I just wanted a way to get back on track. Mean while the company continues to charge late fees high intrest rates and wants me to continue to pay them while I fall deeper and deeper in dept. You can't become current when the late fees and interest are more than what you can afford to pay. This company seems to want to kick a person when they are down with no regard about customers trying to pay and make things right.

I have been on the phone for over an hour talked to three people and all I'm told it I signed an agreement and they don't care about my losing my job I owe them and I should pay they will make no exceptions, except a large settelment in a lumb sum. I do believe I would have 90 days to come up with the money. Where's the compasion for your fellow man? I'm a person not an account number. I didn't plan to loose my job. Life just happened! I plan to get myself out of this mess somehow and never do business with BANK OF AMERICA ever again. They are a greedy company who has no compasion for anyone, in my opionion.
