They say they are taking my soc. Sec. Disability?

Please tell me if you find an attny. I dont even know what kind of attny to get at this point. THEY are nothing but scamming me. They are the 4th collection agency for the michigan guarantee angency. One of the first "3" said they were sending me a hardship loan. I filled it out under great physical and emotional distress. (still am).. Now this company is saying i owe 14,000.00!!! From a small school loan (of which all my incometaxe returns were to have been paying off).. Now they say they are taking my social security!!! Can they??? Anyone please hlep me. I dont know what kind of attny to go to???
They say i own this money because i signed a "consolidation loan" but cannot tell me where the money from this loan went to? But still i own them. For nothing. If the state still thinks i owe them then who got the money from this so called LOAN???
Now 14,000.000.. This was a community college at the most cost 3,000. If even that!
Back in the 80's. Who can i turn to? I have done nothing but cry since talking to them as they have a way of making the illogical sound logical. I am ready for sucide. This is the last go round for me and i cannot take anymore. I am barely existing. Now they want the little bit i have (600.00) a month. So please if you know what kind of attny i can go to please tell me fast. They are making me sign more papers next week and say that time is of the essesne..???
I need my social security disability to survive. I have nothing. Thanks mostly to this debt. Have nothing i could even sell. No car no home NOTHING. Have never even been able to buy furniture
