Violates Peoples Federal Rights

I am currently filing a complaint with the NY State Attny General's office as I feel that GC Services went way to far and violated my privacy as well as my personal rights under Federal Law. They actually contacted a distant relative (same last name as mine) and asked if they knew me (unfortunately the unknowing relative said yes)... They proceeded to tell the relative (in a very threatening tone) that they were trying to collect on a loan that was in collections... They even went so far as to tell the relative the amount of the loan and details such as the fact that they were going to garnish my wages.

I am contacting the NY State Attny General's office and filing a complaint as I am pretty sure that they are not allowed to divulge private financial information to any strangers (including distant relatives).
