Fairbanks Mortage
Ripoff false promises

We orginally had a mortage through Equicredit, before our 1st payment we received a letter that Fairbanks now had our mortage and we were instructed to mail our payments to them, so for 5 months we made payments with the account number on the check and with each check we wrote to them asking to a receipt or a payment book. We never got one, well we had car trouble and needed to get a car, well we were told we never made a payment on our mortage for 5 months according to our credit report.

So we started making phones and Fairbanks said they never had our mortage so we asked them what about our checks, they said they held them in escrow because they didn't know what to do with them, so a Lenore Hannebel called the next day and said they made a hugh mistake and as we were talking she was taking care of the late charges in the system and they would straighten it out with the credit bureau, and that I would receive a letter of apology and a statement reflecting the late charges they were removing.

Well a month went by and no letter or statement came in the mail, only our mortage statement that had us with 5 months of late charges added to it. I made hundreds of phone calls to the company and everyone I needed to talk to were either on the phone or out for the day. I always left messages but NO ONE every returned our calls. Fairbanks since 1999 still have us oweing all these late charges which we refuse to pay, plus they always have us a month behind which we are not, I've received a call that they lost one of our checks, but my bank statements says different. We get phone calls 7 days a week we are threaten with foreclosure they have even sent a man to our house to tell us we are behind when we are not, they charge our account for this man, and have charged us with insurance fees we have no idea of getting or authorized them to do. They have ruined our credit and we never get any answers from Fairbanks.
