Overdraft Notices After Availability Check Showed Funds

I think SunTrust is a rip-off. You check your availability and pending items and are told you have a certain amount available, yet two days later you receive overdraft notices. SunTrust needs to make things clearer. Yes, we as adults should balance our accounts better. Sometimes checks are not cashed by the recipients as we would like. I thought that I had overdraft protection, but I was told that I did not have it. I have been with this company for many years and have never felt so disappointed. I will tell my family and friends to go with Wachovia or Bank of America.
