DELIBERATELY MISLEADING and NOT ORGANIZED VERY POOR customer service AmeriCredit

Okay - our vehicle got repoed Friday am. BUT there is a story...

We financed in Aug - but never rec'd a payment booklet NOR what we owe and to whom (dealer is an idiot). So a month later we get a letter confirming AC is our lender and what the acc# is and amt. Still no booklet (due date etc.) Okay - now we file for bankruptcy but wnat to keep our cars so we still make the payments through our bank (guessing dudate but its automatic). We setup online acct with AC bit always reads "no payment due." We call them and find out they cannot send us a payment book b/c of bankruptcy. We still make payments. Still no info online.
Then we are late on Nov's payment and ready to make in Dec but vehicle is gone! That's Friday or Thursday am (still creeps me out that someone was on my property while we were asleep!), Friday hubby calls bank and they say no info until payemtn is made ($1000!!!) so we grovel to relatives for $ (i know we are very blessed for awesome fam). Know its Monday and we call AC at 8 am sharp. Hubby gets info (need to fax info and Western Union $) then they will tell us where to get vehicle. So I malke about 4 faxes (b/c AC idiots don't give us the correct info we need to faxe - they kept saying, oh you need this. Fax and then we'd call to see if they got fax - they sat but you need this info too. I call adn leave vmail - no return call. Finally 3pm we finally get vehicle info it over an hr drive to BFE. They kept giving us the run around - and didn't wnat us to get our vehicle! We are honest and woudl have gladly paid what we oued if WE KNEW what is was that we owed. Disgusting and shady practice if you ask me. Thansk for nothing, can't wait to refinance (i know good luck!). This is our first ex. With bad finances ever and we are treated like dogs. Doesn't my 14 years of excellent credit stand for anything. Nope. Stay off the grid and go cash - peace!
