Ripoff high interest rates, not workable, false promises

Hello,

I would like to submit a consumer complaints regarding Americredit! We are so much in debt because of them, our truck payment is $705.56 per month, then with added gas and insurance per month-it is more than $1000.00 per month which is almost as much as our rent! It is outragious. The reason why we went with Americredit is because our credit is not good and my husband received a pre-approved letter in the mail and we were estactic! So we went car shopping.

Then when we found out the best interest rate we could get was 22%, and we were already at the car dealer all day, and we wanted this vehicle so bad, and it was actually our very first pretty new vehicle we had gotten together. So we did not want to back down by that time. Now my husband and I are going through really tough times for the past year. My husband became disabled, then lost his L&I income, so now most of our expenses are coming out of my pocket. Also having 3 teenagers living in the home makes it even worse!

Americredit really is not very flexible and I have been struggling to make the payments each month. The dealer told us after a year and half we could come back and try to re-finance the truck to get lower payments. Well we tried and spent the whole day at the dealer again and of course they wouldn't refinance, do you think Americredit would? Certainly not!

I am to the point where we might have to give up the truck and it is our only vehicle for transportation for our family, my husband is carless and I use it for work and back. We need to re-finance or need help somehow to get the payments lowered. I continually have to get payday loans to be able to make the payments per month on our truck. Someone please help, we are in a desperate situation.
