I sold some stuff on ebay and recieved a counterfit check. I didn't know so I deposited into my checking account with fifth third. I found out later that it was a fake check. I have been trying to work with them the best I can. Well I was approved for a couple of loans. Fifth third allowed them to go into my account. The first one was put in there on the 26th of October and I am yet to be able to get to my money. There is a million dollar hold on this account. I am being told there is also an indifinate hold on my account. I have a friend that works for fifth third and she said it only 20 days at the most for them to know if there is a problem with the direct deposits.in the mean while my electric and phone are about to be shut off. I have tried to contact the proper people to not get any where.

I had the branch manager in the Manchester branch promise me that I would never get a dime out of my account. I guess he is holding true to his word. The funny part of it all is the orginal check that was fake for 3,000 they have taken it out of the direct deposite. But I can't touch a dime of my money. I can't get anyone to help me. I have money sitting in an account that I will never be able to touch. I have bills overdue and my van is broke down. I have money in the bank that I cant touch. This is a crock. I can't get any answers and the only one getting paid is the bank.
