Refuse to give me my money

A check was deposited in my account for $4,995 on June 17th. After a few days I was told the check was going to be held longer than normal before they clear it. I went to the bank around June 23 or 24 to find out what the problem was. I was told the check was counterfit and they were going to close my account. The check was not counterfit and it ended up being cleared on the 26th, but I was told my account was going to be closed anyway and I could not have my money. I was told the only way I was going to get my money was thru the mail and it was not going to be mailed out until July 3rd. It is now July 16th and I still do not have my money. I have been to the branch on rte 36 in Red Bank Nj numerous times and NEVER get any help. I just keep being told "It was mailed on July 6th". When I call they refuse to tell me anything on the phone.
I have no problem with them closing my account if they decided they don't want my business. I have a MAJOR problem with basically being stone walled and not getting whats legally my money. TD BANK is 100x's the bank that BOA is and I urge you all to go elsewhere.
