Excessive bank fees. Credit Protection Ins pd in full. Bal of fees >original balance

Credit Protection Insurance paid balance in full for unemployment... BofA account balance is now MORE than original balance when claim was initialized!!!

Although insurance company paid balance in full, they made LATE PMTS nine times causing late payment fees to accrue, APR to increase, etc.! AFter insurance completed their responsibility, BofA refused to set up a payment plan stating my current income of social security benefits was not adequate!

Account has now been referred to a collection agency as no one at BofA will assist in reducing the balance which now consists of ONLY BANK FEES, after the insurance payments! (16,000.00) These excessive fees continue to accrue daily! My credit is now ruined!

Congressional Hearings held in March were interesting... And, at least one consumer in Ohio received an account adjustment and apology from Chase CEO... Too bad BofA is not as gracious!

Have also suffered with my business with overdraft fees being assessed largest to smallest... A new business just starting cannot afford hundreds of dollars in fees every month... Fees that would have been -0- if posted in reverse, but BofA does not do this!!!
