Bank of America Visa credit card fees and rate hikes

BofA visa is using scam tactics to charge fees and to jack up interest rates to 29%.

The tactics seems to go like this. They set a credit limit, no problem here, but when the bill comes due the charge interest on the balance which then pushes the balance over the limit. For this they charge another $39.00.. Over the limit fee caused by thier interest charge. Something they do and it has nothing to do with anything you do with your card.

Also, they move up your due date earlier each month. So if you were accustomed to paying by the 15th when you bill in normally due, you might find that the due date was move up to the 12th. Thus they charge you a late fee of $39.00..

Then to add insult to injury, they use the fact that you have exceeded your limit and paid a day late, both actions were results of the manipulations that BofA did to your account, they now insist to charge 29% interest on your balance.

When challenged on this they just talk in circular argurments. Claiming the reason they won't lower your interest rate is because I carry a balance on another credit card. (Totally not related to BofA)

My Advice. Steer clear of Bank of America. They are getting free money from our goverment and Ripping off the consumer. Is there any class action suits against this behavior?
