Late Fee Charge on CreditCard when due and paid on Saturday Ripoff

I have gotten so many Bank of America credit card bills that have a due date on Saturday, I assume that B of A has found a new way of getting fees out of their customers.

If you pay you bill at the branch on Saturday, the payment does not post until Monday. If you call to have the charges reversed, they make a big stink and say that this is a one time adjustment, and that you will never be able to do it again. (I have!!!)

In fact, I told them the last time I called, that if B of A doesn't want me to show up on Saturday to the branch to pay a credit card bill that says due on Saturday, then stop having my due date be on Saturday.

I assume if I went to a small claims court and showed them my statement that says it is due on Saturday, and the branches are open on Saturday, and will take my payment, that the court would rule in my favor.

B of A, on my last call to them, said that if I paid by phone on Saturday, that It would post immediately. The last time though (several years ago) I paid by phone, there was a "fee" involved with doing it.

It has really become a big pet peeve of mine when dealing with B of A.in fact, I get so busy I forget to call and have the charges reversed. I am sure they hope that that is what everyone does. It is a great way for them to pocket $39 a month in extra fees.
