Took my $1200, but won't give it back after I refused to use their service Clearwater, Florida

I did not sign a contract with them! And they won't return my money or my calls!

I called FAS to investigate my foreclosure options. Gregory & and the lady who took my payment both assured me that I would be able to get a full refund if they couldn't negotiate a solution with — before the court date. They were eager to fax me the paperwork for me to sign authorizing them to midigate on my behalf with my mortgage company.

Upon giving them them $1200 via Debit card I got the paperwork via fax 1 hour later. Upon reading the terms and conditions it clearly stated that if I signed with them within 14 days of my court date, I would not be able to get a refund AT ALL. (at the time it was 5 days before court.) So I called them back and was on hold until 10 pm when the system put me in the general Voicemail box. I left the message that I had been working with Mr. - and that I was not going to use their service because I was not comfortable with the terms and that I was requesting a refund and a call back. I left both my cell and home numbers.

Since then it is almost a month later. I have involved my bank, but they cannot do anything because I did not receive a "confirmation number" cancelling the service.

I say "why do they get to keep my money if i did not sign any paperwork with them???"

Good luck getting anyone to call you back. I have received 1 message, to my 7 calls It was them telling me that my refund was in review. (and my bank investigator had the same problem, she couldn't get anyone to call her either)

REVIEW??!! What's that? A way for them to hold onto my money even longer? Especially now, when I need it most?

In the state of Michigan we have business 3 days to back out of ANY contract. If I didn't sign one with them where does that leave me? A whole lot of heresay?

Thanks to FORECLOSURE ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS I will probably have to file bankruptcy now because I couldn't use that $1200 to put towards a payment to — .
