Mortgage assistance took our money!

I was told about Mortgage assistance Solutions by a lady who was currently using them at the time. When I called and spoke with someone, they made me feel like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders! They informed me of the paperwork and how i shouldn't speak to my mortgage company, saying they would take care of all that as soon as I gave them the paper work back and paid them. I told them I could not pay them 1200 at one time, obviously If I had that kinda money laying around i'd probably not be in default, right? So they quickly wanted to know how much I could give them today. I had given them 100.00 that day and they took out the remaining balance in 300 incrementsover about a 2 month time.

So time goes on and I have to keep calling Heather and sometimes would not hear back. When she would finally get back to me, it was always we're making great progress blah blah. So then I get a phone call from Heather saying the modification went through (funny how it just happend to go through when they finally got the whole 1200) and that my mortgage company needed like 3,800 for the modification to go through and that I should send it to MAS. BOY! Am I glad I didn't do that! Upon trying to get the funds I had been trying and trying to contact Heather for the name of rep she spoke with at my mortgage co.

I never got a phone call back. I called and left message after message, and NO RETURNED CALL!!! My mortgage company has the name of the company on file but that they did NOTHING!!! I would like my money back seeing that you all did nothing for me. My husband and I have 4 children and DO NOT have the funds to just be handing out 1200 like it's nothing. I would like to be contacted by someone and get a refund!!! I highly doubt that is going to happen, but hey! It's worth a shot!
