A recent visit to my local branch, the teller said that I had quallified for a $7500 credit limit Credit card. I asked if there was anything I needed to do to receive it. She said "nothing" all I had to do was say yes. I asked why I was receiving this offer and she said it was because I was a long time customer of BOA (12yrs). I said yes. 5 days later I received the card and it said on the form "$7500" credit limit. I was a little excited because I have never had a cc with that high of a limit before. It also had an offer of transfering balances from other accounts to this with 0% interest for 6 months. So I went to the website to enter my small cc limit accounts to transfer to this one. Then I noticed that the information online was different then what came with the card. It said my credit limit was $500. So I called the 800# and they said the online info is correct. She said "They changed their minds". How can a company do something like that? Its like going to a restaraunt and ordering a filet mignon and getting a burger instead. Because they changed their minds and thats what you get.
