Closing bank account - Bank of america in general

Hi I opened up a Bank of America account when I was on a j1 (3month working visa) this summer when I came back to Ireland I closed my bank account mid October and I am still waiting for my check, my sister closed her account a few days after mine and she received her check over 2 weeks ago. I tried to ring Bank of America but they were unhelpful on the phone and it was costing me a fortune. All I want is my money back.
