Ripoff charged almost $300 worth of overdraft fees when the account was in positve standing and will not refund them Cincinnati

As told to my husband and I by 3 different people employed by 5/3 bank, a direct deposit posted to our account on 11/30/04 at 12:00am (midnight), However on 11/29/04 at 11:59pm (one minute before midnight) our account was overdrawn bu $95. We were charged overdraft charges in the amount of $260 plus $6 daily item fee. I called the bank and asked for some help due to all 9 transactions not totaling more then $11 each and the charges were almost 3 time the amount. The bank denied any help. They would not even help with one or two fees. At this point my husband asked to talk to the bank due to the fact that he is a new customer and has only been on the account a very short time. He left US bank and came over to 5/3 when we got married in August.

They repeatedly denied him any credit or help as well. They told him that he has already had fees taken off and that he needs not to make a habit of it. He advised them over and over that he is a new customer and just needs a little customer service. They still denied. At this point we went into a branch and asked if they can do anything for us. They also stated no because only the Springdale branch would be allowed to take off the fees. We then asked to close the account and withdrew all the money. We came home and looked at the account and it was in the negative by $500,094. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and now with you. I would like to see this issue resolved in a timely manner and am counting on your help. Thank you
