I just terminated my 2-year contract with DIRECTV. While the quality of the TV service was fine, their customer service has been terrible. It began when they placed our satellite dish on the wrong part of our condo building roof. We told them specifically where it could be placed per our association; they placed it elsewhere. When they came back the 2nd time, I thought all was well. Come to find out a few weeks later that it was in the wrong spot AGAIN. When I called, they said they would charge me to move it, even though they had not followed directions. They told me it was my responsibility to make sure it was in the correct spot... Since then I have been counting the days until I could cancel without penalty. VERY rude reps on the phone and not willing to work through things. I will never go with them again nor will I recommend them to anyone.
