Do not get direct tv!

We were shopping around for cable as we moved to Nebraska for my new job. When my wife called direct tv they really sounded great. We got the NFL Chanel, and a couple months of movie channels. We specifically asked the lady when we signed up if we could get local channels for Denver before we set this up, as we are only 2 hours away. Needless to say we find out after hookup this is not possible. Now I can not watch my preseason bronco games, and my wife can't watch her news. Plus no network tv shows. When I emailed the customer service department I never received an email back. I called and they said there was nothing they could do. Why lie to your customers to get paid? Now I am stuck in a 2 year contract for crap tv that I don't watch. Comcast was awesome, not happy with direct tv. Too bad comcast isnt here yet. I am a young customer, and I will not be wasting my money with this company ever again. Judging by all of the other complaints by customers similar to mine I'm surprised you are doing so well.
