Direct tv is the WORST cable company i have ever dealt with. Their staff is beyond incompetent and you cannot believe anything they say! If they finally send a tech out to you (which they are reluctant to do if you have the protection plan) they either dont show up, show up hours late and dont call, or say that YOU canceled the appointment. Forget about being compensated for your lost time. Any rep that says anything about crediting you wont, and wont put notes on the account. And if they finally do you have to call back at least 4 times and eventually talk to a supervisor. (even when it is their fault for charging you the $50 service fee when you already pay for the protection plan) I understand now why they make you sign a 2 year contract or I dont think anyone would voluntarily stay with this company. My contract is up in november and it is now june. It would cost me $300 to cancel. Never again. Dont make the same mistake I did!!!

ELLEN FILIPIAK, CEO When the person that spoke to us about Directv he told us that it was going to be for 1 year contract. Come to know that the contract was for 2 years and i was never told that and didnt sign a contract
